Animation in Schools
Young Animators offer enrichment workshops, themed projects and PPA cover for schools in Kent. We promote cross-curricular, creative, collaborative idea development and encourage pupils to problem solve and learn through trial and error. We work closely with teaching staff to design projects which enhance existing topics, subjects and themes.
We can animate scientific diagrams or mathematical patterns, recreate scenes from history or respond to a piece of music or text. The finished animations, along with supporting resources, will be accessible on your school’s own page on the Young Animators website.
Why Teach Children to Animate?
We don't. We help them figure it out for themselves. Making animated films is about problem solving, logic, communication and learning through play.
Our aim is to build confidence through experimenting and collaborating in challenging projects which require young people to apply existing knowledge and skills and encourage creative thinking.
