SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUB 2023: ANIMATE TO MUSIC
The studio is full of little professionals this summer! Our Young Animators had all the kit out, learning some pretty complex After Effects techniques, building musical sound tracks, embellishing in Procreate, getting stuck in to some stop motion and getting engrossed in hand-drawn animation on the light pads.
SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUB: METAMORPHOSIS
This Summer Young Animators Club were at Folkestone Museum again and we are will be creating Monstrous Morphs, Enchanting Evolutions, Transfixing Transmutations and Animated Alterations.
Illustration, Character Design & Book-making
Illustrator Emily Martin - Mythical books and Metamorphosing creatures.
13th August: 2D Animation
Mutate, morph and take drawings on shape-shifting journeys.
14th August: 3D Stop Motion
Animated, evolving 3D models and sculptures.
Thursday 12th April @ Folkestone Museum
This Easter, we were inspired by 'Kent Collects', a fantastic exhibition at Folkestone Museum by Artist and curator Karen Pamplin Browne.
We celebrated our collections and made animated films about them. We created fantastic Stop Motion films with Seaglass, made a collaborative film about plastic pollution, constructed hilarious Lego® Brickfilms and even animated our lunch!
