Year 4: Fractions

Both year 4 classes made these films so that they could hold a maths lesson and invite their adults. The film can also be used to help teach their peers. 

These young animators didn't only have to master Stop Motion Animation skills but had to show a deep understanding of their subject so that they could create these great teaching resources.

The children discussed how we can help teach a subject by repetition, clarity and presenting something in lots of different ways.

Years 3 & 4: 'Here Comes Sandwich Junior School'

A film inspired by Tom Hopgood's book 'Here Comes Frankie'

Our young animators spent two full days with our Animators, Artists, Illustrators and Writers. We talked about artists and musicians with Synaesthesia and experimented with sounds, words, textures, colours and shapes. This playful project enabled us to discuss how our senses and experiences can change our mood.
